Instructions for APASICON 2023 Abstract Submission

Format for abstract of the paper / poster

  1. E-posters or papers should be sent in the templates given below only, which are in power point form and have edit options available..
  2. Use Word format and Times New Roman letters.
  3. Title in all capitals and text in single spacing with font size 12 for both.
  4. Should contain less than 300 words.
  5. The abstract must contain AIMS & OBJECTIVES, METHODS, RESULTS & CONCLUSION.
  6. Comments like “Results will be discussed” will not be accepted.
  7. All single case reports will be included in poster category only.

General Instructions

  1. Last date for receipt of abstract is 30th June 2023.
  2. Papers without plagiarism certificate issued by concerned HOD will not be accepted.
  3. The presenting author should be a member of ASI.
  4. Wired earphones are must while presenting a paper/poster[Avoid bluetooth]
  5. The presenter should submit paper/poster earlier and slides and screen share will be done only by organisers to avoid technical issues from presenter side
  6. Scientific Committee reserves the right to select best 5papers for Dr.Lakshman Prasad best PG Award paper and Dr.Vyaghreswarudu best paper award,those not selected will be converted to free papers.
  7. Proof of Registration of the presenter in APASICON 2023 is a must for accepting any paper.
  8. There should be a covering letter with a declaration by the presenter that the work is carried out by him / her and team if any and has not been presented or published by him /her earlier.
  9. Covering letter should have a mention of the category to which the presenter wishes the paper to be included. This should also contain the ASI membership number of the Presenter.
  10. The abstract of the Paper/ Poster, Covering letter with declaration, proof of registration and proof of age for competitive categories must be submitted in the website.

General Rules

  1. .After successful submission, abstract submission ID will be sent via an email.
  2. Only those papers received with full specifications alone will be considered.
  3. Once the Selection process is completed the Presenters of all the accepted papers will be intimated into which category the paper is assigned, its format, rules and regulations, session & time slot of their presentation.
  4. Rule of Two: Each presenting author may submit a maximum of two abstracts(includes Poster/Paper).Should a author have more than two abstracts for submission,a co-author must be named as presenting author for one or more abstracts.

Guidelines for E Poster Presentation

  1. All e posters should be in the format of the template provided
  2. The poster can include Text and High quality images only. Video files are not supported.
  3. The candidate should send the final poster in the prescribed format through e mail to apasicon2023.posters@gmail.com before 31st May 2023.
  4. The Header should contain an attractive title, Presenting authors name to be underlined, Department and Institution name
  5. The presenters are expected to present the poster for 5 minutes virtually, where they will be evaluated by Judges.
  6. A certificate of presentation shall be issued to the presenting author after the virtual presentation within 10days
  7. Eposter presentation file size should not exceed 5MB

Guidelines for Free Paper Presentations

  1. All the presentations should be in Microsoft powerpoint
  2. First slide of presentation should be title slide ,the title slide should contain only the title and name of the presenter,, Institution name or Guide name should not be mentioned either in the title slide or anywhere else in the presentationed.
  3. The duration of presentation is 7 minutes + 3 minutes viva
  4. The presenter is expected to present the paper virtually in the time slot provided to them.
  5. The presenter should definitely undergo speaker training 2 – 3 days before the conference, details of which will be shared in the last week of June.
  6. The presenter is expected to log in from the same place from where he is going to present live during the conference, to check for connectivity issues.
  7. The timing of the talk also will be communicated in the last week of June.
  8. The candidate should send the final poper in the prescribed format through e mail to apasicon2023.papers@gmail.com before 31st May 2023.
  9. The above guidelines to be followed strictly. Any discrepancies shall lead to automatic disqualification.

Guidelines for Quiz

  1. Each team should have 4 partcipants.one college can send two groups.kahoot app will be issued for all the participants for preliminary screening test.
  2. .The selected candidates of quiz team will be informed to attend the quiz finals through zoom app.
